Early Admission Kindergarten (EAK) is a free, state-funded, full-day kindergarten program. EAK is for children who will be five years of age by March 1, 2013 and are not currently enrolled in kindergarten. The program is open to all eligible students living in the community. Participation is voluntary and not designed to take the place of kindergarten. Students participating in the EAK program will enroll in kindergarten for August 2013.
Enrollment is limited to the District average for Kindergarten of 32 students per class. Priority will be given to older students. For your convenience, registration forms will be available here by November 1, 2012. Forms may also be picked up at LMSVSD elementary school sites by November 1st. You must make an appointment to complete the registration process at the District Office. Please call 668-5700 x6480 or x6481 to make your appointment or for additional information.
Please bring the following original documents for your child to your registration appointment:
- Completed Registration Forms
- Original Birth Certificate
- Original Up-to-Date Immunization Record
- Two Proofs of Residency
