  • Volunteer Tea is May 24th (10:15-11:15am)
    If you have volunteered this year in any capacity at Murdock, we would like to celebrate and thank YOU at the Volunteer Tea, hosted by Murdock staff in the Murdock auditorium. Please RSVP by Monday, May 21st to your classroom teacher, if you haven't already done so. You can also RSVP by clicking on the event on the online calendar. Questions? Please contact the school office or ask your child's teacher. Murdock volunteers are music to our ears!

    THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! As of May 18th, the Spring Fling PTA Fundraiser has netted $18,739 so far! THANK YOU TO EVERYONE who attended the event, bid on items, made a donation, organized a basket for the auction, made personal phone calls to businesses, helped set up and clean up, and helped during the event! PLEASE HELP US THANK THE SPONSORS, AND INDIVIDUALS, ORGANIZATIONS, and BUSINESSES (view the pdf) who donated their professional services and/or items for the silent and live auction. This PTA fundraiser was a success and helped prevent deeper program cuts at our school this year AND funded a new music program this year!

  • STUDENT READING GOAL CUT-OFF DATE (POINTS / MINUTES)
    Friday, June 1st is the last day for AR points and reading logs to count towards the reading incentives. Students who reach their goal will be treated to a Winner's Circle Breakfast on Thursday, June 7th. Students will be escorted to the auditorium at their designated time. Teachers will have a list of which students have reached their goals (no RSVP is required). VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED to help with Winner's Circle Breakfast (click here to sign up).     Have you ever wondered how many laps your child is completing each week at Run 4 Fun? Now you can check your child's running record online! Access to your student’s record is password protected, and you can have multiple adults signed up to view your child’s record if you would like them to be part of this experience! It is free to use and is funded through PTA fundraisers like Exercise 4 Education (E4E) and Spring Fling. Learn more...

  • Transfers for 2012-2013 School Year
    Please review this letter from the La Mesa - Spring Valley School District for guidance regarding the transfer process. The La Mesa - Spring Valley School District offers students the option of attending a school other than their designated school of residency. All transfer request forms are available at the district Education Center, at all district schools, and on the district website.
