La Presa Elementary welcomes you to our website and to the 2012-13 School Year!
 
 Here you will find important information that will make your school year successful. Use the "Quick Links" section to find LPE's Report Card, information about our breakfast and lunch program, information about Extended School Services (ESS), and suggested school supplies for your student.

School Announcements

  • Dear Parents; Safety First!
     
    We work hard every day to make LPE safe for your children. You can help us ensure that our campus remains safe. If you plan to visit the school, check in to the office first. We will issue you a Visitor Badge to wear while you are here.

     

    Visitor badges help us to identify those who should be on our campus and those who should not be on our campus. I know that going to the office is a few extra steps but doing so will help us make LPE safer—which is something we all want. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

     

    Another way to make LPE safe is to get to know us. During the first few days of school, be sure to introduce yourself to your child’s teacher. We want to get to know you and you should get to know us. Also, let your teacher know the arrangements you’ve made for picking up your child. Will you pick them up? Will another relative? Where will they be picked up? Will someone different drop them off? Keep us up to date through the year as this “pick-up/drop-off” information changes. This information helps us be aware of who will be on our campus and who is responsible for picking up and dropping off your children. Again, thanks for your help!

  • What You Need To Register Your New Student At LPE: 
    • Original birth certificate, passport, or hospital certificate
    • Original immunization records
    • Two proofs of residence - Two of the following: driver's license, Department of Motor Vehicles Personal Identification Card, deed to a home or closing escrow papers, copy of receipt of current San Diego County property tax bill, rental agreement including registered owner and renter's signatures, copies of current month's bills or installation, receipts for gas, electric, cable TV, water/sewer, trash and or telephone, receipt from moving company for moving household goods or receipt showing delivery of newly purchased major appliance or furniture, military housing orders, paystub with address, voter registration, or correspondence from a government agency.
    • Report of recent health checkup
    • Child's health history (shot record)
